ACT, founded in 1985, is a non-profit trade association representing over 300 specialty trade contractors and material supplier in the construction industry.

ACT's mission is to provide a forum to improve business conditions for its members through united and cooperative action for the betterment of the construction industry and the community.

ACT is the only construction association that concentrates exclusively on the business issues affecting all subcontractors and material suppliers:

ACT's growing membership includes firms both open shop and union, representing every trade specialty for commercial, residential, and public construction.
